The MikroTik KNOT LR8G is a versatile industrial-grade gateway built for smart IoT applications like asset tracking, field monitoring, and automation. This compact unit supports LTE CAT-M1, NB2, Bluetooth 5.2, 2.4 GHz WiFi, GPS, and Ethernet with PoE. With enhanced 868 MHz LoRa® sensitivity, it delivers stronger signals and extended range — even in high-interference environments. Its concurrent GPS and LTE CAT-M connectivity lets you track mobile assets like vehicles or containers in real-time while maintaining a stable data connection.
The device includes SMA connectors for LTE, GPS, and LoRa®, and offers multiple powering options: PoE-in, DC jack, or MicroUSB — plus PoE-out on the second Ethernet port for powering peripherals. With only 6W power consumption and a compact form factor, the KNOT LR8G runs RouterOS v7 to give you full control over routing, automation, and scripting. Powerful, cost-efficient, and built for scale – it’s the perfect choice for any mobile or distributed IoT deployment.
